Bridging the gap between data and product strategy, I currently operate in the health data space as a Research Analyst at Statistics Canada. Before transitioning to health statistics, I functioned as a Product Manager responsible for the modernization StatCan's of ETL systems and worfklows for survey and administrative data. In my spare time, I operate a boutique consulting firm that supports web development and business intelligence.

For Canmore's newest run club, I built a custom Cloud-native webapp to manage user registration. The platform features secure authentication (including OAuth), a responsive front end built with React, and a Node.js backend that powers workflows. Organizers are able to manage site contents in browser and access real-time dashboards that provide meaningful insights.

Hynesight started as a simple affirmation I'd lean on when I needed clarity in complexity. Over time, it grew from a personal mindset into something tangible; a space where I could bring together data, design, and performance to build real-world solutions. In March 2026, I reimagined Hynesight as my independent consulting firm, grounding it in the same principle that started it all: finding clarity, and building with intention.

In October 2025, my team and I released findings from a crowdsource study on the experiences of Canadians living with life-limiting illnesses and their unpaid caregivers. The article highlights key barriers to accessing timely and appropriate care, including challenges navigating the healthcare system and limited availability of services, while providing insight into gaps in palliative care support across the country.
